Employment OpportunitiesImproving access to high-quality pre-kindergarten is one of the most effective things we can do to promote academic success. Research confirms what most parents already know: children start learning from the moment they are born, and what happens to them before they enter kindergarten has a dramatic effect on how they succeed in school and in life.
At the Trust for Early Education (TEE), our goal is to ensure that all children, regardless of their economic circumstances, get an education that allows them to achieve their dreams. TEE does this by supporting high quality, voluntary pre-kindergarten for all three and four year olds, so that every child can begin kindergarten motivated, prepared and eager to learn.
A non-profit organization, TEE was founded in March 2002 on the strength of a multi-year, multi-million dollar grant from the Pew Charitable Trusts. Though based in Washington, D.C., TEE recognizes that key battles for early education will be fought in statehouses as well as on Capitol Hill, and therefore one of our priorities is to provide funding and strategic support to state-level organizations that can help us achieve our goal.
Come join our team and work to support quality education for all of America’s young children.
